Questions and answers
about your gamepad

  • How much does it cost to build a MyGamepad?
It depends, because you have several options and choices. It also depends on our country and available suppliers. To make it a little bit easier I used € as the common currency. The US$ values be be similar, but of course it depends on the exchange. 1. Cheapest Option: 1 MC, buy all parts, 2 suppliers 3D Prints PETG 29,50€ Basic parts set 34,50€ Gateron switches set 11,50€ PCB set 4,90€ https://www.mygamepad.de/shop Waveshare ESP32-S3-NANO 10,00€ https://www.waveshare.com/esp32-s3-nano.htm Waveshare 240x320 2.4 inch LCD Display Module 65K RGB 12, 00€ https://www.waveshare.com/2.4inch-lcd-module.htm Total 102,40€ Plus shipping from 2 suppliers 2. You might also want to print the 3D parts yourself and get the print files for 19€ from https://www.printables.com/model/862188-mygamepad But keep in mind you still need 450g of filament. The download from Printables includes also the gerber files for PCB production. So you might want to order PCBs at https://www.pcbway.com/ There are minimum orders and shipping to you country might be costly. I also want to mention that you could also buy many of the needed parts at https://www.taja-elektronik.de/MyGamepad Please check it out. Of course you can also get many parts from eBay, Amazon, AliExpress and other shopping platforms. But as always keep an eye on the shipping costs.
